History and Current Projects
In November 2014, Good Food Restaurants announced the formation of Happy Daz (now Good Food Restaurants) Charities to support, among other causes, the operations of the Blue Star Mothers Veterans Food Pantry in Lima, Ohio. The food pantry, which had lost its former home in Allen County’s Memorial Hall, received a five-year lease at $1 per month to operate in a building owned by Good Food Restaurants owners John and Aimee Heaphy. Since 2014, Good Food Restaurants Charities has been proud to make donations to many organizations in the communities in which it serves.
